New blog - need tips for submitting/RSS/traffic
I have just made a blog (using wordpress) and I have wrote a couple of articles. My articles has been written with SEO in mind, very keyword rich etc. I've planned to write at least one article a day, to make Google come back often and rank me high.
It's now time to submit my blog to relevant directories etc. I know dmoz is important, so I'll start off with that. What other places should I submit?
My blog has an RSS feed, but I don't know how to take advantage of this. I have read it's a good thing for SEO, but what should I do? Should I submit the RSS-feed url to some kind of RSS directories?
Any other tips for a new blog?
What should I do and not do regarding submiting, etc.?

After writing in your blog, hit pingomatic.com to let the world know you have an updated entry.
Feedburner will help avoid format issues/conflicts (rss, atom, etc.) and offers some useful bells-and-whistles for bloggers.
Don't forget to ping Yahoo too. They love RSS. I use this one: http://api.my.yahoo.com/rss/ping?u=http://www.mysite.com/blog
Of course, your blog's URL will go at the end.

Thanks for a great site and community!
There are two really good blog search engines that has excellent features,
each of them use your RSS feed but you have to add them to thier database.
I would also start exchanging links with other blogs!
Other tips would be make sure you enable search engine friendly URLS if you have such a feature, if not check with the forum from where your blog was created for plug ins and hacks. Another good plug in would be to put keywords/phrases on your headers.

Good Luck!
I believe pingomatic is the default for wordpress isn't it? /shrug - I'm not a wordpress expert so I might be wrong.
