Need Help Troubleshooting Wordpress SEO Problems w/ New Template
Hi -
First off, thanks for the taking the time to read my post. I own a rapidly growing Wordpress based hobby site called The Cardboard Connection (www dot cardboardconnection dot com). About 2 months ago I changed templates to the one I am using currently. However, the new template has caused lots of problems regarding the search engine placement of my individual posts and pages. Many of my meta descriptions and titles are getting skewed, and as a result have dropped ranks considerably. I'm still well ranked for the more competitive words in my niche (although I still can't get the meta descriptions not to show the date for my homepage when it is searched in Google).
I recently made a number of seo related modifications to the site that I think (hope) should help, and changed from using the All In One SEO plugin to Greg's High Performance SEO plugin, which allows for greater more honed control. Even with all these changes I'm concerned that bots will have trouble indexing my content as well as it did under the previous template. I would be very appreciative if some members with experience in this area could take a quick look at my site and offer some suggestions on SEO improvements (or confirm that things look good if that is the case). Thanks in advance for any help you can give a new member to SEOChat.
