Is this classed as blog spamming?

Hi guys,

One of my major competitors seems to be doing something not entirely ethical in terms of posting 'blogs' to various other blog sites around the net, mainly blogs powered by WordPress.

The blogs they post are loaded with keywords and back links back to their site but the blogs they are being posted on, are completely unrelated.

For example, this site www. gigiscrib. com is one of the sites my competitor is posting their blogs to. The same blog can also be found on various other blog sites around the net.

What I was wondering is A. Is this ethical? and B. What are they actually doing to get their blog posted on all these other sites? I'm presuming there's a 3rd party piece of software or site involved somewhere? Or is it all done through RSS?

Any help would be appreciated, it's confusing the hell out of me! If you need me to name the site in question for more research, let me know!

basically they are posting their blogs having their site link over other sites which help them to get links from those sites..its a kind of submission which helps to get better ranking over serps...it is ethical if the content of those blogs are different means no duplicacy...

Thanks for the quick reply!

One thing I have done since posting my question above is check out the whois information for all the various blogs that they appear on, and suprise suprise, they are all owned by the same person. Does this suggest that maybe this company has hired an SEO or been approached by a company offering them blog spots on hundreds of different blogs across the net which they own?

^ Could be either or both. Well...they could even be the ones who own those blogs too.

Whenever someone comments that way on one of my blogs, I automatically delete it. I don't really mind anyone posting a comment that has a link to their sites as long as it's related to the post they're commenting on. Keyword and link stuffed comments are a huge turn-off.
