Question Is the RSS feeds generator search engine friendly???

Hi all,

I am just new in this RSS feeds concept and I recently decide to update my website page with relevant feeds that will increase mostly the optimization of my site. Not knowing too much about how to past my RSS feeds to my PHP website, I've been searching for a few hours and even days and I found this website
"http://jade.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/feed/index.php?s=build"
That completely generate the feed code so i only have to paste it on my website and everything is fine.

The point is that when I check the page source of my site I only saw the code generated by this website and not the content of the feed. The question is that:

1- Am I suppose to be able to see the content of the feed when making a page source request?

2- If I only got the code generated by the website on my page source, would it be user friendly for the spiders/robots?

I am just looking forward to modify my entire site with RSS feeds but i would not want to do it wrong.

Thank you

Lakaypam

Any feed generator that gives you javascript to put on your site will not show up in View Source, and will not have the output spidered by the search engines. You need a generator that will output the actual html, not javascript. Try www.feeddigest.com instead.

Here's my list of sites regarding RSS.
Please note that I don't use all of them (in fact blame me... I don't use RSS at all ) so I can't guarantee their quality.

But at least it's a long list and you'll have from where to select.

Thumbs up Thanks dazzlindonna, sufyaaan and totalit#051

Thanks you all guys for the quick reply,

Unfortunately at the moment of submitting, the site referred by dazzlindonna was down and I did go around and visit the other one which was pretty interesting and might meet some other special request. But in conclusion I think that the www.feeddigest.com site is the Best, it is up running now and totally meet my needed.

Thanks you all again for this great support.

Lakaypam
