Integrate blog to my site
Hi
is it a good idea? the site isn't that popular, now when I post new blogs how would people find about them ? do I need to optimize that page where the blog is?

Not quite sure what you are asking. Do you have a blog hosted on Blogger or Wordpress and asking if its okay to make it a part of your current site?
A blog is almost like its own website just formatted differently then a typical website. Some people use blogs as their main websites. Ask your questions more specifically and clearly for better answers.

ok, sorry, I have a website already ( a theme selling goods which is different from bloging) and I want to have a link in which I will have a page in which people can blog...I am not quite sure if it's ideal or not, well if it's feasible in the first place as you sound that it might not be, thanks

A blog is a good idea as the search engines like them b/c they are constantly updated and fresh content is available for them to crawl. A blog is not 1 single page (in most cases). Can it be? Im sure but you can run a blog as part of a site and have many pages and categories, similar to a regular website. This is what I meant by a blog being its own site, in a sense.
The best way to utilize your blog to help out your main site is to blog and add links back to your main site. If you speak about a product in your blog, throw a link on the product name and point it to the product. This should help with getting more of your pages indexed while creating new content that will be a part of your site that isnt so popular.

If your site's theme is selling, create a blog on that theme too. As what Lb1878 mentioned, create content regularly that focuses on the products you're selling and put a link on the article itself pointing to the product page on your site - using your keyword/keyphrase as anchor text, of course.
