I submit sites over a period of time, yes. But I have most of my blogs set up to ping about 30 different services everytime I make a post. (I do a lot of RSS Submitting, since I'm making about 4-5 blogs/day)

oh ok, i thought you submitted the same rss feed daily. i wasnt aware it was for a new blog every time.
do the blogs do anything for you? i would imagine you cant add unique new content to them too often if you are creating 4-5 a day

You'd be surprised - I can que up content to post twice a day for a month. It takes about an hour per blog to do so. I usually spend 2-3 days creating blogs, and then spend a day queing up posts for a month. And then spend another day getting BLs. I use the blog feeds on my own sites too so that I dont have to update as often.
