RSS and SEO
Ivy:
RSS has the POTENTIAL to help your SEO. Much of the time, the RSS feed is in a format that can not be read by search engines, therefore, there is no help within the feed itself. I have had tremendous success using RSS feeds to build link popularity. Over the last several months, I have received hundreds of site-wide links, amounting to hundreds of thousands of individual page-links. The value of site-wide links, are of course, not agreed upon in the search community, but this method is definitely not black hat, nor link farming. I am available to do this on a freelance basis. Feel free to send me a private message if you would like to learn more. |
