Host location
Ive recently started a wordpress blog in order to rank high for a certain keyword. I am based in the uk but i am using a us based host, does anyone know if host location will effect my ranking?.. should i go with a uk based host?!

Host location plays a role while getting your site listed in regional search engines.

So if you need a higher rank in Google UK then the UK host location would have given a li'l edge over the US hosting.

But having said so, you can still have top ranks in Google UK if you have more co.UK links pointing to your domain.

So no need to worry on your hosting location
