Question Getting Multiple Blogs Indexed

We have just introduced a blog feature to our users on our site and they have all started using it quite well. Now, we have a problem of trying to get this blog information indexed. At the moment, only a couple of blog entries have been indexed by google.

I am using the title tag and have started using meta description and keywords. We have has rss feeds from the start for all the blogs.

My question, how do I get google to start indexing these blog entries for what they are?

The easy way to get index on google is build the in-coming links to your blog.
Just promote/post your link in the same niche subject.

Submit your blog sitemap on SE and also submit it to bookmarking site. This is the best way to get indexed

Not sure if everyone understands what im saying. I have just created a blogging system for our website's community. So now there are around 1000 individual blogs. What is the easiest way to get all these indexed and crawled?

Try cross linking them. Is one blog getting better indexed then the others? Im not sure what time frame you are looking at but I would imagine it would take some time to index 1000's of blogs. Cross link your blogs to one another and use the keywords in the anchor text.

Also, hit the social bookmarking scene. Promote the one site that has all of the blogs and add the blogs to social bookmarking sites. Be sure your blogs are programmed correctly and are able to be indexed by search engines. Continue building links for all of the blogs.

The process is the same as if it were 1 site. Keywords, content, link building (obviously not that simple but in general). The only thing that may help you get your blogs better noticed would be to promote the 1 site that has all the blogs listed heavily. I would try the social bookmarking sites and see if that speeds up your process. Perhaps an html and/or xml sitemap on the main site will help you speed up the process.
