Does onpage optimization matters?

Hello pals, I read in one place that on page optimization does not matters anything in case of blogs. Only on page optimization is important in case of blogs. Is it really so?Thanks in advance.

I mean to say it

Well friends,in my last post I mean to say that as far I know , two types of SEO factors are there, on page optimization(factors like keyword density) and off page optimizations(quality back links).What I mean to ask, I read online in one place that,on page optimization is not important in case of blogs, it is only applicable in case of websites. Is it really a true fact? Hope now all can understand my query.

Keyword Density is not a major on-page optimization factor.

Major on-page optimization factors include:

* Title

* Headers

* Content

* Navigation

And blogs are no exception - you need a proper balance of on-page and off-page optimization to get your blog listed higher in the SERPs

Mate,key word density is useless factor now a days and it is not a part of optimization at all.
On page optimization refers to
Title, Header,Internal linking structure,Site Navigation,Quality and unique content etc.

A webpage can perform well with the help of both on page and off page optimization method.
Good combination of on page and off page optimization is needed for a web page,it can be a blog or a site.

The success of blogs is based on the fact that they have vast quantities of rich text copy which has an enormous advantage for longtail queries...

For targeted phrases -- there is still much work but rightfully once you have vast quantities of rich text copy all you need is links for these ranks.
