Converting to blog but want to keep current feed names
I have three feeds on my site, lets call them cat1.xml, cat2.xml and All.xml. Cat1 and cat2 are feeds for the two main topics and All.xml is a cumulative feed for all articles. The feeds are updated manually.
The feeds are partial, i.e. they contain descriptions but not the full text of articles.
I am thinking of converting to a blog platform. My main consideration is maintaining the existing feed filenames in their current locations, as they are a strong source of visitors. I don't want to use external hosting.
Can anyone suggest blog software that allows the user to select the filenames to be used for the blog feeds? I want to set it up so that it will keep the names cat1.xml etc.
A bonus of switching to a blog is that the feeds will be full content.
My host uses IIS and supports php and mysql.
