Blogs or Article Submission ?

Hi Buddies,
In my site, I have a blog also, www.domain.com/blog and i used to update it regularly.

I have heard about writing articles and press release or publishing in re-print sites.

Which one will be effetive to drive traffic? Publishing articles in my site's blog itself OR publishing it in article re-printing sites?

Also is publishing articles will araise duplicate content issue?

Help needed please.

Talking

Do both. Make sure in the bio your article submissions have anchored text with a nice keyword linking back to your site. Also add your raw URL in case a site which grabs your article does not like anchored text.

Try sites like ezinearticles or isnare. There are a lot out there.

On duplicate content I have not worried too much about it too much and have not seen any real issues. If I have the article on my own site I will change around the first paragraph, add or change something in the middle and change my last paragraph. If I have a list in the article I will also change the order.

Article submissions helps create one way backlinks. To get the best results you need to be doing a lot of different things, not just one or two, and article submissions should be a part of it. Just my opinion.

Yes, you are right. Also I heard that unique content is very important for blog. So try to keep it unique and relative as possible.

I agree with them both Blogs and Article Submission will help drive traffic to your site through links. The more interesting and unique articles you have the more visitors and readers will visit your blog.

Both can never hurt. The more avenues you create for visitors to get to your site, the more traffic you'll receive.

Also, be sure to cross link your blog to your main site. Search engines like blog's b/c they are generally updated often. I've seen posts in a blog show up in the top 3 of Google within 3 hours of posting. If you are adding links within your content to your main site, you will help your main site index better and get deeper crawls.
