I don't know if this is the place for this question but I need help... I have a blogging session everyday but over the last week I've noticed that my comments on others' posts haven't been appearing, not just delayed, they just haven't shown up at all... Why could this be and how do I fix it?

Its totally up to the moderator moderating that blog, what else? If he does'nt find your comments suitable for his blog, he'll surely delete it.......

I'm aware of that, but certain blogs display comments immediately.. I've used them to test out the problem and it exists there too..

There are different ways to set up blogs but the most common is to have the first comment for any user moderated before it's added, then afterwards to allow that user to add comments immediately (without moderation), but the blog admin' will always see your comments and have the option of deleting them or of changing your user settings so that all your comments must be approved before addition.
In addition, if you are thought to have been "abusing the system" (posting on numerous blogs on an overly-regular basis with the same sig' link in all blogs) you might have been added to one of the "anti-spam" systems which are common amongst most blog software. Quote:

Otherwise you could try new blogs with a new ID and a new link url and take care to make worthwhile posts and to go easy on the "self-promo"... those are the things which usually create a bad rep' Another thing you could try is removing your sig' link and see if your posts start to show... (you can always add it back on later)! Were you posting for traffic or links? You might be better off looking at forums rather than blogs, or - probably better still - use your time to create articles on your core subjects, add links to the articles and post them to article sites. Top notch advice... I'm still new to this SEO thing.. lol..
Uh, I was aiming for traffic and links... A lot of the places I blog have nofollow on their comments links, so traffic's all I could aim for... I was adding relevant commentary though, wasn't doing the whole "great post" thing.. |

Have you started to add more then the regular links to your blog posts? Some blog anti-spam programs do not allow you to post more then 1 or 2 links in a comment. Perhaps you have been added to a spam list.
Clicky B said it best, you can try apologizing to the blog owner and be more constructive to "their" blog versus your own. People don't want outsiders stealing traffic from their sites so they'll put the brakes on real quick if they see that happening. |

As what ClickyB said, you've more luck with traffic and links on forums as compared to blog commenting. Most blogs are nofollow, so if you're after the links using that strategy, it's a futile attempt and a total waste of time.
At the very least, your comments should make the blog owners and the readers see how "enlightened" you are on the subject matter you're posting your opinion on. If you post quality comments, you might earn yourself a spot on their blogrolls. IMO, that's probably the main thing you should target when you're commenting on blogs. |

Thats what I have been doing.. I'm on the "top commenters" list on one of the blogs my posts are no longer showing up on... Thats partially what confuses me...
My strategy regarding blogs is to get traffic, get links (since the top commenters list are dofollow links) and learn more from other bloggers |

Hmmm... Since there are many possibilities as to why your comments aren't showing up, the very best thing to do right now is to just wait for the reply of the blog owner..
