It actually completely depends on your industry and how good your conversion rates are. I would lean towards social networking sites as a general guide, but as I said, it depends on your industry.

What kind of traffic do you want to see SEORAJESH?
Referral traffic? Organic traffic?
I seriously do not thing any of those will help you get much organic traffic.
Networking is an old an proven marketing concept. So if your niche allows it then you can use Social Networking effectively to drive referral traffic. It may ultimately help you generate some good links / Word of Mouth exposure and you may end up getting Organic traffic from them. (long term)

No bookmarking site without any degree of social network will get you traffic. (As far as I have seen I dont get even one percent of traffic from bookmarking)
Site like Digg, Stumble Upon are predominantly social networking sites along with being book marking sites. They do get you traffic if you can create some viral content.

Directories can help you rank organically if they are one of the few that actually have any trust + traffic. They can also send you some referral traffic but I dont count on them much. Local business search engines can be a good source and they convert. Things like yelp, google local etc.

For everything else there is - PPC.
