Ranking Comparison between Google vs Bing/Yahoo!

    Hello all,
I need some guidance to know that,
if my website has good ranking in Google, so is it indirectly ranking in yahoo and bing itself?
or it has another process and techniques to rank in yahoo and bing.?

No we can't focus on all search engines simultaneously. The reason why we can’t focus on Bing, Yahoo and Google simultaneously is because all the search engines have different algorithms and require separate way and amount of works to be done both on and off page works that is to show up in rankings.

Now if you work around Bing, Yahoo algorithm you will have a hard time getting the keywords ranked on Google or will take much more time and might not be as stable as they are right now. Thus, for the same reason you need put all our energies to get better and better on Google and increase the keyword list there as more keywords get ranked on Google as you will get the more traffic/conversion for your site from Google than any other search engine.

Each search engines have its own search algorithm to rank a website. If your website has good ranking in Google, its means is not that it will get good rank in yahoo and bing as well. However, all major search engines have common parameters like unique and quality content, site speed, user friendly design etc. in its algorithm.

It's not really that difficult. From our research, Bing/Yahoo seem to favor slightly higher keyword density, and focus more on onpage/offpage as a weighting system. Google takes that a bit further, and implements more weight on (trusted) backlinks, activity of G+ and social, along with citation and social signals.

Want proof of this? Look at the amount of keyword-driven URLs in the top 3 spots.

In this search, we are number 4.

This is the same exact search on Google:

In this, we are number 5. Last week we were number 2. Video results has slightly skewed the results, as they were added to page one last week.

Im noticing Google ranks more SEO blogs and Yahoo/Bing rank more public article sites like Squidoo, Ezine, etc. That's why it's harder to rank on Google because they give tons of traffic to same sites who rank up in search engines. And everyone is blogging about SEO, social media etc. claiming to be an expert. They are just repeating same thing they read about and rewording it. I wish people would stop doing that so much because it's just the same info reworded. That's what sucks about some of Google's top results. Yahoo and Bing seem more diverse in their approach at ranking different types of sites.

If you are having good ranking in Google then you automatically get good in bing and yahoo. Because Google is the biggest search engine.

    Really?

I'm seeing a BIG difference between the three.

Don't make claims unless you can back them up with an authoritative source, please.

I also notice that in your "reason for joining SEO Chat" you wrote "for promotion purposes."

So if I see any "promotion" aka spam going on in this forum from you, you'll be banned. That's your only warning.
