How do I get Bing to index more of my site pages?

I have 3000 backlinks when I check Google Webmaster Tools but only a little over 500 with Bing.

My domain is 7 years old, but was moved to another server and redeveloped about 14 months ago.

Site is not performing very well in SERPS.

Any suggestions?

When you changed servers, did the URLs on your site change? More broadly, did anything onsite change?

Bing link explorer shows sampled data, that is one reason why you're not seeing all of your back links.

Yes the URLs did change. The domain was the same and the homepage was the same URL, but the newly developed site had new URLs. We did a lot of redirects from the old site and at the time the old site that had not really been updated for some time was getting 200+ hits a day, but on switchover this dropped over a period of weeks to around 30 hits a day.

Since then, despite a lot of onpage and off page SEO work we are struggling to get the site to perform.

It'll probably continue to drop...the products are from amazon, your site is an affiliate, affiliate site are hard to rank IMO, the content is the same as every other affiliate pushing the same affiliates product. It's a hard market to conquer.
That's only my opinion others may differ.

Although the site is hosted on Amazon Servers as an Amazon Webstore we are not a full Amazon Affiliate. Buyers are just directed to Amazon for payment but we dont actualy sell on Amazon. All the fulfillment is direct from ourselves.

Beginning to wish we hadnt gone down the Amazon route.

Gotta give it our best shot now, as we invested a lot of time and effort into it.

Idk, I don't think the fact that you're on amazon servers is the cause...I think it has something to do with the redevelopment. Um. Without being able to look at the site it is hard to trace it back but in general, here are some things to consider.

(a) when you redeveloped, did URL's and content change at the same time. If so what does the content look like?

(b) are the redirects permanent redirects, rudimentary I know but did yo run a crawler to make sure?

(c) did you check your bing webmaster tools for potential issues in there

my theory: you experienced some kind of link devaluation...bing is a lot more likely to straight up throw crappy sites out of the index, whereas Google keeps everything including the crap. Otherwise, you have some kind of onpage issue going on from the redevelopment..the best bet for that is to audit the old version of your site and the new and compare...also did you map out the ranking loss...is it global across all pages or did specific pages lose rankings....

If you chage your server nothing will change every thing will bhe remail same .................
