Question? does Bing link no-follow links or does bing only like do-follow links just like Google
ok last day I saw when I posted one thread in the Bing my signature links is no follow but but the thread which is already posted by another buddy is dofollow. Why is it so. I did not understand. my posts in Bing are also near about 35 links. What is reason behind that??
no dofollow link is just weighted by google, and other search engine dont understand the nofollow or dofollow link attribute, THIS IS JUST DESIGNED BY THE GOOGLE, you can check this by http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nofollow

- Google states that their engine takes "nofollow" literally and does not "follow" the link at all. However, experiments conducted by SEOs show conflicting results. These studies reveal that Google does follow the link, but does not index the linked-to page, unless it was in Google's index already for other reasons (such as other, non-nofollow links that point to the page).[9][10]
- Yahoo! "follows it", but excludes it from their ranking calculation.
- Bing respects "nofollow" as regards not counting the link in their ranking, but it is not proven whether or not Bing follows the link.

i visited your web link. Nice site and unique design.
I have read that if the 'Nofollow' link is from a highly ranked page (PR 7, 8, 9) then Google considers it as a ranking factor.
These things looked pretty good, and some that I can learn, and I hope to learn more on it!
I think this will really help you in understanding the nofollow links.
rel="nofollow" Action Google Yahoo! Bing Ask.com Uses the link for ranking No No No ? Follows the link Yes Yes Yes No Indexes the "linked to" page No Yes No No Shows the existence of the link Only for a previously indexed page Yes Yes Yes In results pages for anchor text Only for a previously indexed page Yes Only for a previously indexed page Yes

It is not right that google not provide no follow links. Google provide all relevant link result whether they do follow or no follow. As no follow links also get traffic but not helpful for pass on the weightage of page rank. So when you search for anything , it does not matter of the link , but the matter is to get the relevant result. But when you exchange the link then you have to check the link and it is required.Originally Posted by 3g alarm
Well Bing has lose its credibility as compare to google and other search engines. that's why more than 55% user comes on Google not on Bing.
This strategy (nofollow/dofollow) is only used by Google search engine.
bing & yahoo search engine is not like google search engine. bing & yahoo count both nofollow & dofollow.Originally Posted by 3g alarm
thanks.
Google count only dofollow links but yahoo ad bing count the both i think you should concentrate on Google search engine seo ........
google and yahoo is understand nofollow other search engine not understand this thing .
i think google and bing wont check whether it is nofollow or dofollow they will check for quality link
