Sitemap.xml error in Bing
Why is Bing showing the status of my sitemap is "error found" as well as sitemap type is "unknown"

I've had the same problem as well since I started using Bing Webmaster Tools. It seems that I can't submit my sitemap or any xml format of my site for proper indexing.

If you are using wordpress submit the domainname.xxx/feed as the feed url.If you are using custom designed websites check your sitemaps with google webmaster tools before posting.If it is error free then post it in bing and wait for atleast 6 days before it gets approved.
