For what it's worth, when I had my homepage in a frameset with keyword-stuffed noframes content, I was #1 on msn... but then I went legit, dropped the frameset and now I'm #9. Obviously this is due to the text being different, ie the real page has far less intrusive use of the targeted phrase.
Is anyone #1 on both google and msn? Although I only made that switch a month or so ago, I'm starting to feel that google penalises for the higher % that msn rewards. Ie google sees the msn percentage as stuffing, maybe I'm imagining things tho

For MSN, find a non competitive keyword, get 15-20 good links and you'll be on the first results within a couple of months. Even links from directories really help.

They had the oposite trouble, can't get nice rankings at any search engine exclude MSN, where they are in the top 5 for many keywords. They had attempted to figure out the way MSN ranks sites, but they still don't get it.
