Difference in algorithm between Google and Bing

Hi guys,
My rankings are terrible on Bing but way better on Google. Not sure what is the difference and why that is happening. I know that Google gets most traffic but I dont't want to lose out on Bing traffic either. Any knowledge/experience will be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

All search engines have there core currently based on inbound links.

My knowledg as to where Bing differs from Google, is that Bing places more importance on exact match and keywords in domains, also exact match keyphrses in heading and page title tags, as well as favours older domains as opposed to new ones (hence if you a new domain that isn't exact match, it will take longer to rank highly than Google using core SEO techniques)

Bing places more importance on exact match keyphrses in heading and page title tags and also in the page content. When we compare the results of both the search engines Google will provide you with more accurate and relevant results.

Bing looks for the keywords in the meta title, meta description and meta keywords and also in the page content. If you have your targetted keywords in all these places, you can get a better position in bing.

Bing uses little bit different algorithm than Google.Ofcourse the domain age plays an important role,The longer your domain has been registered, the more favor it will find with Bing. The title tag is of utmost importance for Bing. Without the relevant keyword in this area, your complete SEO efforts could be wasted. When you link out from your page, ensure that the title tags of the pages you have linked out to have the keyword that is most relevant to your page. Bing simply loves this.

I agree with you. In my point of view Bing gives more focus on URL than Google

If you want to be successful in Bing and Yahoo, besides inbound links you need to focus on ON-PAGE elements of SEO, title tags, relevant URLs, Internal links to your content, Use of headings could really help you a lot.
