Site Not Being Crawled by Teoma/Ask Jeeves?

I and my partner have a site that ranks decently on Google, Yahoo and MSN yet for those keywords it is no where to be found on Ask.com. I don't even see any evidence of our site being listed in Ask.com search results for anything even the company name. I have submitted the sitemap via their sitemap submission http protocol (I think that's what it is called) yet two weeks later I still do not see any indication in the search results that our site has been indexed. Does anyone have any suggestions for things I can check or do to get indexed by ask.com?

I can't suggest you that how to rank well in ask.com, because I never tried.
Always put your effort in getting decent amount of traffic.I don't think from ask.com you are going to get a reasonable result interms of traffic.

You are ranking well in Google, thats it.
Now concentrate on how you can go to much better position in Google and then try to concentrate on the other source (except search engine) of traffic.

To Crawl your site in ask and teoma... You should specially focus on Higher PR Dir., Search Engine, Blogs and Press Release.

If you can do this for couple of days, its automatically crawl you site pages.

I would try pinging your XML sitemap to Ask. They can take an age to fully index, let alone rank a site!

I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I cannot suggest any advice about ask.com. I did not use that SE. I prefer to focus on google, yahoo and MSN. These are the top SE that can drive traffic to your site.

Search Engine Traffic

I too have been watching Ask, it usually takes more time to get index in Ask then in others. Traffic from Ask is also very poor.
