how to delete SE's indexed pages
there was a problem that we encounter, the directories that shouldn't be indexed by SE's was crawled by the robots. question, what should i do after creating robots.txt in the website. we can still see the url in SE's.
hope that someone can give me a feedback.

To de-index is not immediate. You have to wait for the bots to crawl those pages to pick up the no-index.

Also, You can delete page from Your domain or redirect via 301. SE Bot will delete page in near future from index.

As a rule: having (your own) webpages deindexed cannot be done by simply creating a robots.txt file afterwards. Most search engines will keep the pages in their index anyway, even if they cannot crawl them anymore
It's often better to use a "meta robots noindex" tag of some sorts.
P.S.: this question is not about the Ask.com search engine, now is it?
