Usually if your website is well ranked on all Search engines, about 9 to 10% of your traffic could come from ASK

Ask has its own algorithm.
Ranks change all the time on ASK and It's hard to say what works best.

I think 8-9% of the total traffic normally comes from ask.. They have made some changes in the algorithm lately.. earlier it used to be a lot similar to google.. not sure wats goin on with them these days..

Traffic from Ask
I do get some traffic from Ask but I don't think its near 8-10 % of the total traffic I'm getting from Search Engines.

Does anybody really get enough traffic from ask to be concerned with how they need to optimize there pages for it? I mean there are bigger beasts out there to conquer in the seo world.

I remember about 3 years ago I something happened and I suddenly started getting about 500+ uniques a day from Ask. That lasted for about 6 months but then the traffic faded and went totally.

I know this post is older than my computer but...

According to the May comscore number Ask is at 3.6 per cent of the search market in the USA. Better than I expected.
