Ask.com universal search

Go to ask.com and type in Iraq War... Is anyone optimizing for this kind of complete content display?

Google is rolling out universal search which will look a lot like the ask results for the term iraq war.

Anyone have any ideas on optimizing for all this content?

Asthetically it looks great (well I like it).

In some ways a universal search system probably gives sites more of a chance to get ranked and traffic because of the multi search options, it would probably be very difficult to be able to optimise for all elements so it might open up some niches.

This an interesting article on the topic:

I've read a lot of Mike Grehan's articles... the gameplans for universal search optimization probably won't be available until Google actually incorporates it.
