Where does ask jeeves get its results from?
As title really, where does ask jeeves get its search results from thanks, and how do i get in, pay or organic.

Ask Jeeves is no more. The domain is still registered to them but I know they closed their CA offices.

If everything is still the same Ask gets results from Google and Teoma, and supplies HotBot, DogPile and Lycos.

You can buy your way into Ask by way of Google Adwords and being in the top 3 on PPC.

No love loss for me.
I think their results are terrible.

I still prefer MSN (I tried the new one Hakia, and their searches had about the same relevency as Ask, maybe a little better).

according to Bruce Clay they get their paid results from Google but appear to have their own algo. Send their primary results to Lycos, HotBot and iWon.

I had a similar chart in my bookmarks, but I guess Bruce's one is a bit newer (be it less elaborate).

I wonder if "Jeeves" minds other search engines using Ask results to produce their own serps.
