I never seemed to get crawled by this spider..


Are there any secrets to getting listed? I get crawled like once a month, but never get indexed or deep crawled.

Try installing the Teoma toolbar and browsing your site. My site got crawled and updated with 2 weeks of my having done so (following a span of 6 months with no update). YMMV

Hi sem4u, no, I'm not an SEO or web designer. My interest is just for my own sites. I got tired of waiting for an update on my main site so I tried it out. It worked and I uninstalled the toolbar. The next time I make significant changes to my site, I'll try again.

In the meantime, if anyone can corroborate a similar experience, I'd like to read about in this thread...

Free Submissions till possible?
I was looking for a way to get into Teoma/Ash Jeeves (free of course).

Usually I avoid the free submission sites so this is just curiosity.

Submit Express says it will resister you with the 40 below for free. Is this a blatant lie?

I think the toolbar really helps.
Since I've installed it, I've realized I've been getting visits from askjeeves on pages
that i don't think have even been indexed by teoma. It's still a mystery because
I check my logs everyday and I only see that there bot visited '/' and not any
other page, but it's good to have them bring traffic to my site though.
