I hope many of us are optimizing our client web sites for AskJeeves. Personally, have you used askjeeves.com to find any information recently? Even if you had used it once, please answer YES. Else answer NO.

I don't use it, and based on my site stats, neither does hardly anyone else.

I used it (...sort of...) when jux2 was still online. That was (!) a meta search engine with G, Y and AJ results. Very cool. Alas, it is no more
I can't be bothered with AJ. My low-traffic niche sites are probably all #1 for the targetted (?) keywords by now. But AJ is a UK thing so I get no real visitors. Gonna vote a "skewed" yes then |

I used to use metacrawler, but as the toolbar's got implemented and even the browser's address bars started defaulting to G, I got lazy and went to G.

I tried it here and there.....too many damn sponsored links..too much clutter and not enough of good results. So NO not anymore. The butler does nothing for me either hehe

All I know is that you ask jeeves about his sexual orientation, and he'll happily answer you. For some reason, the fact that he answers, makes me think people who actually use the site even think he sucks.

I can't remember the last time I used it. I used to see advertising for them, but that seems to have stopped, at least in my area.

I use AJ ocassionally, normally when I want a specific question answered eg, "Why are red widgets not blue?" It gives me some good results.

Why ask Jeeves that question? I already know the answer. Red widgets are not blue because green is dating orange. Last edited by jrothra : August 10th, 2005 at 04:04 PM. Reason: Spelling error. |

askwho?
Askjeeves just never did it right. I remember a few years back it was almost a big thing, but I hated the results.
