ask jeeves it's more like ask sponsor !

ask jeeves is just getting anonying i was trying to understand
why would a search engine put 10-20 sponsors on top.
So I emailed them and explained how they use to have answers and today they just dont care about qaulity.
I received an email back and they explained to me what is sponsors

Seoing for competative keywords in ASkJeeves like "unique gift" you can forget about it.

I use to get excited when I looked in my logs and saw referals through Jeeves. In the last year searching for my relevent keywords and seeing the results. I don't care anymore about referals through them as I usually see many irrelevant results posted in the searches and who wants to hang around and do more searches on a so called SE that returns mixxed results compared to other SE.

Yes, I did a search on Ask Jeeves last night and was amazed by the number of sponsored ads. Ask Jeeves looks nothing like a search engine anymore, but a site placing ads (affiliate links!)

I use to Use jeeves alot I might end up on thier site now about once a month when I am looking through logs and search phrases but never to do a search...

I used to like ask a lot of years ago. Now i don't, it's too old fe i have deleted webpages from my website about 5 months ago. It still lists them. It also took them 4 months to deepcrawl, while google, yahoo and msn did it in 1 week.

ask is kinda miz.....they have to much junk to drive traffic to your pages
