    Definition of a Web visit

    Hi All,

I had a question about the definition of a web visit. I know the universal definition is counted as activity on a site that is only broken when there is 30 minutes of inactivity. My question is regarding this scenario. I wanted to know what the industry standard is regarding this.

For example, let's say i go to 123.com from abc.com. The visit referral would be credited to abc.com. But let's say I leave 123.com for 15 minutes but come back to the site from a referral from xyz.com within the same visit time frame.

Who gets the credit? Would abc.com lose the credit and xyz.com get the credit or will both abc.com and xyz.com get the credit because they both delivered a referral to 123.com?
