Cool I use QuantCast.com and find it very useful for sales

I was surprised at the alexa number for out website. First, rankings are very relative, no? Your site might not be in the top 100,000 of all, but for your niche you may be in the top 500. It would be useful for someone to come up with ranking based upon major business areas.

We use QuantCast.com. They post not only daily, weekly and monthly visits but page views and demographics, allow you to compare your self graphically to other sites, etc. We use our rankings when we solicit ad promotion business. they are not perfect, for instance, they will rate any website also, but without tracking code on your website, they estimate somehow, I do not know how. We also us CounterCentral.com and googleanalytics which really let us see how we are doing relative to ourselves, track growth, identify problems early, know our customers, and set conversion goals. Hope this is helpful.
