I like Alexa's searches
I have started using Alexa for things. You know searches with alexa pull up better related sites than google. If I am looking for something, I have been using alexa a lot lately. Its actually kind of handy. Also I have been using the little links in the toolbar are handy too. The ones that tell you related sites. I have found it really great for finding things. If I go to a site, I can usually find another good site like it with the links.

Very interesting listings.
I think this one is worth looking at.
By the look of it, all the results are from google but it has more options and presents more information for every search.

I agree, I mean the ThumbNails are nice, but take to long to load up. Why not just use google? As for the features, i believer there is more on the Yahoo! tool bar, but that is just my two cents.

The thumbnails and the related websites are a MUST in a search. It shows how the website looks before you click on it (a professional looking website will not flood you with porn pop-ups and spyware, but a crappy looking one with lots of banners will do).
I agree with the thumbshots.com team, thumbnails of the websites will be of great value in the future of search engines.
Imagine Google with thumbnails, giving you the option to show only the first 3, 5, 10, all or no thumbnails.

That's basically Alexa. That's a big plus then.
Shame we are all just interested in SEOing our own sites, and are not looking for info on the web. On a "regular internet users" forum, Alexa would get more followers. It's just that we all know about the easy-to-fool Alexa toolbar and thus think A. is rubbish, when in fact it is ok.

P.S.: I must say the Alexa thumbnails are quite limited, in that they only show a snapshot of a site's root domain's home page. In my case, my site's thumbnail showed the wrong picture. (Had to correct that...)
