If you constant refresh your web page at regular intervals then the alexa will increase. 1 more thing alexa depends upon the traffic.

This need not to be argue or up to you to disagree. I dare to say this is because I already have proven facts. I monitor more than 20 sites analytics, there are many sites that with 100K of visitors has lower alexa ranking than the sites that only have few thousand of vistors. Thats why I say is not accurate.

Yet I say is only useful for advertiser is because many advertiser use Alexa ranking to benchmark is the site traffics is good or not, this is true.

Alexa rank is all about traffic and visitors. The more traffic and visitors you get, the higher your Alexa ranking will be.

Yeah don't bother about the alexa ranking, just concentrate in getting good ranking in search engine, so your traffic increase and ultimately it would increase your Alexa ranking.

Alexa rank does't matter and is manipulative.So don't bother about Alexa rank, that all people know who are linked with SEO.
But how we can make understand other people, to know that ALexa rank is manipulative.My boss is saying that he want that our website should improve in Alexa rank, with in a week., Although we had made improvement in SERP, but how i can make him understand this thing.
Is there any other way by which we can i can improve Alexa rank for my website except the downloading toolbar and inviting people to visit website who are having Alexa toolbar downloaded in their system?
