Daily Traffic Reach in Alexa

Does anyone know how the daily reach is calculated in Alexa and what is the total internet users it's calculated from? I can't seem to get the numbers to match up to what google analytics says my sites traffic is?

Alexa only has data from people who visit your site who have the alexa toolbar installed..

That is why its inaccurate beyond belief and nothing to concern yourself with.

Because Alexa Rank and Google PageRank are totally separate entities. Do you expect your PR to increase because your Alexa rank is increasing?.

I'm absolutely agree with you . Alexa is very popular , but it is not mean that their rank is so important think for websites .
So I advise do not give so much place to Alexa rank .

I think Google have there own traffic calculation algorithm that is different from Alexa that why you get two different traffic result. I prefer Google Analytic for exact result.

I still don't get it with alexa my visitor is decrease but my rank increase everyday.. don't know why

Google analytic and Alexa shows different stats you can check on alexa page views,visitors etc.
