Some dumb webmasters still think that Alexa rankings represent the traffic your site gets. I have tried to get into a topsites website that will bring me many visitors, but the stupid webmaster won't accept sites that have an Alexa of over 100k
I am now at 101,000... just a little more and I will be in! |

Yes. In my country you probably can not sell things if you are over 100K. People are not web gurus to know how Alexa is dumb.
So boys do you still think Alexa is useless and meaningless? Quote:

I agree alexa is kind of meaningless. But for some reason I still have the toolbar. You want me to come visit your site? I have a decent alexa ranking but I think its cause I go to my site a hundred and one times a day.

Yup.
I use firefox more now then Internet exploder and my alexa ranking has plummeted. It's amazing how much of a difference 1 person can make going to the same site over and over again (even though alexa claims to have changed that). There are sites out there that get far more traffic then mine but have an alexa ranking into the 200,000s. I will say I do like the related links fuctionality of the toolbar (though I can use google for the same thing).
