No. Alexa's ranking won't give you traffic.
If you don't have the Alexa's toolbar installed could be useful to check your site's evolution: don't care for absolute numbers, just relative.

many times people see increased alexa stats because they install the toolbar and surf their own sites by accident (or intentionally)

my traffic has been rather consistant recently, but alexa makes it look like it is all over the place

I once saw this guy selling a site on ebay because he had a great Alexa rating - then I installed the toolbar and 30 days later I too had a great score on my site - it means nothing.

I have said before - Alexa is Bunk

It more than sucks - it is deceiving.

Since it can be manipulated it can be used for negative purposes – in fact it is so bad I would not depend on it at all.

I dont, not any more, but i use to untill i became aware of this and started to learn from forums like this one
