Would this interest affiliates?
Hi All,
I will be offering an affiliate program within the next six months, I myself have been an affiliate and have a good idea about what my affiliates will expect from my program but I have some questions for you all. How would you feel about an affiliate program that did not send you a monthly check, but kept your credit card number on file and automatically deposited any earned funds into your account directly? If anyone (affiliate program) is already doing this please let me know how it works for you. From an administrative perspective, it seems like it would be so much easier if I didnt have to print checks and mail them out each month. For what I have in mind, sales, tracking and payouts would all be automated all in real time which would be another plus because my affiliates would know exactly whats going on at all times. Thats one thing I used to dislike about any affiliate program I ever remember joining, was the fact that I always had to just trust everything was on the up and up. With my system, my affiliates will know first hand whats going on with thier account. Back to my original question, how do you feel about no checks mailed out, only credit card deposits? Thanks! |

That would be great, but I doubt if it's possible to do it on the financial/practical side.
Btw, if that wouldn't be possible, I can tell you that I feel pretty confortable with companies that pay their affiliates with Paypal, or electronic found transfer (wire transfer). I hate checks.

My favorite affiliates do an EFT right into my bank account. I don't need to give them my credit card number at all. PayPal also works - although I've noticed more fees since the start of PayPal, especially if you have a business account. If they're going to take 2.5% of my deposits, I'd rather get the check, that adds up especially if you're a good affiliate marketer and have bigger deposits! EFT is my favorite. |

Paypal allows you to have two accounts, a business/professional account and a personal account. The personal account can recieve funds with no fee. I think theres a limit like $500 per month but you do not have to pay the 2.5% commission. |
