What is going on with Commission Junction?

Their reporting has been unavailable since Friday. Today, I cannot even log on to their site.

We just started using them in January. In this short time they have had several reporting problems. Is this sort of performance typical for them?

Log in working today OK for me

This was a notice on the site

"Account Manager available, reporting delayed through Feb. 24 [Updated: Feb. 23, 3:00 PM (PST)]

The Commission Junction Account Manager was recently unavailable due to a product deployment. All transactions were tracked during the site downtime, but the reporting tab will remain disabled until transaction reporting has caught up. In addition, reporting may be delayed for another 24 hours, as the backlog of transactions is catching up. If there are any changes to this schedule we will post them to keep you informed. Thank you for your patience."

I still cannot log in. It still just hangs...

It seems that they have had quite a lot of problems with their reporting since I first joined. Is this typical for them? It just makes me leary of the accuracy of sales commissions paid.

Hi Mcdar

I only use commision junction at the moment for a small addition on my current affiliate site, I have not used them big time yet so can't really comment.

What I have read about them seems to suggest that they are regarded as one of the top affiliate people in the US although personally I have not been overly impressed with the way they present their stats information so far.

I mainly joined them because I had intended launching an affiliate site aimed at the US but that was put on hold so I could sort out the Florida fiasco with my current sites.

Thanks for the response thewormman.

I just got off the phone with a customer service rep and was told they are now in the process of "slowly" updating their database and that is boggin down the customer interface part of their site.

I'm just concerned about payment. They normally deposit directly into my bank account on the 20th (always right on time), but this month they haven't yet. I'm getting antsy.

Our direct deposit is a "no-show" as well.

It is very hard to trust that, with all the problems they seem to be having, that everything else is "running accurately".

I've used CJ for almost a year now, and I've had very few problems (if none at all) with them.

I can't log into my account today either, but I got their cheque in my mailbox today, so it doesn't seem like they have any problems with the payment...
(it was sent the 18th)

CJ has been up and down for going on 5 days as you know. I manage several affiliate programs there and even getting in the merchant door is hit & miss this week.

Here is a back door log-in that works most of the time even when the main one does not.

Just an FYI in case you can’t get in any other way.

Hope this helps for anyone suffering from stats withdrawal.

Google can't. Which irritates me. Other companies have no problem with direct deposit (such as Commission Junction), but Google only has one option - mailing a paper check. It really annoys me.

A little help please

I am trying to sign up for commission junction.
I get to the bottom of the page where it says, "Please enter the characters into the box below." and I can find no letters, numbers, nor any thing else to type into this box.....what am I overlooking?

Do you have some sort of popup or ad blocker running? It may not be showing you the image that has the letters/numbers in it. You might need to turn off your popup or ad blocker temporarily to see it.
