Hi guys,

Come on, are you really trying to sell your affiliate program like this? If you believe in it, sell it like it really is; give us more details!

The way I read these messages is that you're desparate for new affiliates... maybe I am wrong, but you guys should give it a shot to turn that around... quite a few well trained and knowledgable people around here who, if you're able to convince them, will be of great value to your business!

Just my 2p

RE:affiliate

Hello,

It is nice to know people actually read the posts. WE are serious about our affiliate program and we are serious about the privacy of our clients. We are not ones to make empty promises about tremendous payouts per month to certain affliates.

What it comes down to is that Trend Time features all the hottest products first and while the trend is alive. Many people are astounded by our products such as the dragon rc helicopter. If you have a site and it gets REAL traffic then you will get sales.

Hope that clarifies.

Regards,
John

I like affiliate marketing and I have been involved in it for some time and as you mentioned you pay 5% commission to your affiliates.

I prefer to join affiliate programs that actually pay over 20% commissions to their affiliates, and even better if they are 2-tiered programs!

I also prefer ones that offer you expensive products or services that you can sell so that I can make a lot from just on customer.

Thumbs down Reply to Thread Trend Times affiliate program.

I have recently purchased a $299.99 RC Helicopter as a gift from an online toy store named Trend Times Inc. ( http://trendtimes.com ) on 5/16/04 and my credit card was billed on 5/17/04. Below are the addresses found for Trend Times on the BBB Business Listings.

TREND TIMES
9705 E. Mountain View Rd. #1135
Scottsdale, AZ 85258
(602) 214-4587
URL

TREND TIMES
3255 S. Dorsey Lane #2009-B
Tempe, AZ 85282
(602) 214-4587
URL

The Trend Times web site looked very professional and used (SSL) to encrypt the transfer of information so I assumed they were a legitimate website. I waited the two weeks for delivery as it was stated in their conformation letter and an allowed some additional time because of the holiday. When the product wasn't delivered. I emailed them on 6/12/04 then again on 6/15, 6/18, 6/20 and received no response to my inquiries. I also called their 1-800-350-5420 number on 6/17, 6/21 and 6/22 left a message and got no response from them either. I also called the above phone number found on the BBB business listings and the number was not affiliated with Trend Times Inc.. As of 6/24/04 I have not received any communications form Trend Times Inc. (URL) and have been unable to establish any contact with them either. I'm pretty sure I've been a victim of a rip-off and I want to make sure others don't fall victim to this same company either.

Best Affiliate Program

According to me the best affiliate program is an ecards affiliate program because ecards is considered to be a great traffic boosters. With the viral effect of the service, we can drive more traffic to our site. the one offered by 123Greetings is the best as they also provide the opportunity for us to earn througn banners. It gives me the opportunity to promote my products through ecards as I can use the whole content of 123greetings on my website.
The universal appeal of greeting cards attracts a wide cross-section of the online population and a greeting card site can be a valuable resource to your existing site, be it corporate, professional or personal.

I am also a member of http://associates.123greetings.com and i am enjoyng my partnership with them through banners.

Call Visa or Mastercard, or whatever credit card you used and explain the situation. The credit card company will, without a doubt, reverse the charged.
