What do you think of this site, a place where webmaster can sell some of their space for some bucks through auction.

Do you think asking for only US$10 a month is too much placing a text or tiny logo link of the advertisers ?

The idea is good. I have no knowledge of this service tough.

It's a great site. If you are planning to buy/sell links this is the place. I use it from about two months and I am very happy.

I would be a bit more skeptical. How well do they prescreen people who are selling links.

anyone can rent some pagerank and rerent it out, but it is hard to know alot about the site using that format. I have found home page ads on leading industry websites rarely cost more than a few hundred dollars if you are personable and contact the webmaster / site owner correctly.

I think advertising on the #2 search engine information site on the web with a home page graphic and text ad (and in their newsletter) is only $330 or so. (I think that is what it costed me)...

I have used it and have been happy. Just make sure that if you are unhappy with the transaction there is good communication.

Be leary of certain too good to be true prices. For Example I purchased a set of PR 6's from 5 different sites at a very good rate. After winning I noticed all the sites had bogus content and all had backlinks from 1 large site. Obviously they put these sites up just to sell links. Although it only cost a couple bucks, 50-60 per month, I was not happy with sites that are in a sense, fake. Make sure the site you get a link from is a real well established site.

I've used it and got a bargain, very happy indeed with the service from the vendor and the site.
