Is this guy telling the truth?

Joel Comm claims that he earn $25k / month in Google Adsense?? Is this possible or is this a plain scam?

While I'm not calling him one, in general only the top BlackHat SEO ppl make that much money from adsense, and even then it's only through hard work and spamming the living hell out of the search engines.

Its very commenplace to earn that income and much more.
There are black, white and grey hats earning much more than that every month.

The guys that are earning that through have seriuos skills and are not complete lamos like the guy referenced in the website.

Just by lookinh at it you can tell that it is complete rubbish and he is obviously a pleb trying to sell people a dream.

A typical guy (or gal) will keep it to themselves how they make the money.

If you look at the stats on the adsense it was when the search engines were taking and ranking any rubbish.
He probabbly put up a lot of sites with traffic equalizer and had one good month out of his entire career on the net.
He will be showing that adsense screenshot as proof of earning for years like the oldschool adsense lamos.

So in short,,,,,,,, save your money becuse he is a ****.

I make $25,000 a month from adsense! however im so lame Im desperate for you to give me $95 for an ebook, thus telling everybody else how i make my $25,000 saturating the market rather than keeping my little secret to myself

If you want to make money work out your own way, dont buy into other peoples "systems" as you will have probably already missed the boat, or be conned.

In relative terms, $25,000 revenue in adsense isn't too hard, especially if you have a really large portfolio of sites dedicated to bringing in that traffic -- knowing how to effectively use e-mail marketing and other forms of traffic generation can get you there.

That said, the Adsense payouts are too small for a lot of entrepreneurs out there who can make a lot more by focusing on their niches.

If I remember correctly, I read somewhere that on average, a site only brings in $20 a month (though I think that's an average of all the sites surveyed, so results will differ greatly), so you can guess the amount of sites you'd need...

thats seems to be very low if he is getting 400,000 hits a day. That dollar amount can be achieved with a small fraction of the hits if your ad placement is good (or bad depending on what side of the tracks you walk on ).

I don't know why people want to discredit that guy. Realistically we never know which sites could be his, if he just offered an examination of his sites people wouldn't buy the eBook.

If you use AdWords to promote a site with a high click through rate theoretically it's possible if that's your main business.

I heard his book gives tips to people who may not know a lot at all about optimizing Adsense. I think people need to take it as that. Maybe he spent $7,000 in advertising to make $15,000 but it gives people something to reach for.

I have not ordered the system or eBook nor do I know the guy but business is business. If you already know a lot about optimizing your site for adsense then you don't need the book.

I've never bumbed into the guy spamming webmaster forums I think his target market is novice webmasters. Leave it like that. SitePoint has books that are geared towards us you don't see novices complaining that they are too hard etc.

One of my sites last yr earned on average 2.5k per month and only £100 of that was adsense. That was only around 2 to 3000 uniques per month too.

Obviously the more competitive the KW (usually financially related) the higher your income will be should you produce good traffic. Pick your site subject, seo strategy and affilliate network carefully and you can be rewarded....

I've just signed up and I get $20/day with adsense on my 1 non-work site. Simple maths dictates that if I had a large portfolio, say 100 sites, I'd be making $2000 day; so yes, I'd guess that it's perfectly "possible". However, I'd consider it unlikely, because you need 100 sites with a relatively large amount of traffic (ie my 1 site has 20,000 impressions/day). Maybe if you offered free forums to anyone, got 500 forums signed up and took the adsense revenue, that'd do it.

I would say to you.... That you need to troubleshoot your site layout.

That is a large volume of traffic and a very low click out rate.
