Is it marketing or spying?

Hi,
can I track my competitor's visitors? I mean in terms of numbers of visitors ? is there any tool that give such statistic and is it fair to say it's a marketing tool, thanks

You cant do it normally. Unless you can get access to his logs or put some code into his pages. What about buying a banner space and tracking the ip etc.?

You cannot track that and even if you can, you will only get the help of a few tools that are hardly reliable tools.
