Is AdSense allowed on gambling sites now?

I am coming across tons of sites that have links to online gambling on them and yet they are displaying Google AdSense ads...

Anyone aware of a change in policy recently?

Darlene

I'm not sure, I'd rather say it is not allowed...

Its not allowed but the money is so good that people are taking their chances.
Google seem to do nothing about it and they display ads so who cares?

I think this is worded kind of misleadingly... basically the OP was saying that the sites that display adsense ads also have obvious links to poker sites. Poker sites are still locked out of purchasing Adwords but if a poker site owner already has an adsense account then they can put the Adsense on their poker page and G probably wont be the wiser...

G checks the site that you use to apply for your Adsense account. If it is a good site they give you a number and a login and then you can put Adsense code on any of your sites. If you abuse the TOS, you are risking a ban of your account. If you are asking whether G checks every page that has Adsense on it, then the answer is no.

well gambling websites are not allowed to have adsense ads on them but if you have a gabmbling site that is sort of like a tutorial site then you are allowed to have ads served. e.g. a site that teaches you to play poker.

Well that is to the best of my knowledge but you can always send a email to google adsense support desk and ask them directly.

Good Luck
