I need your help. I would like to find some affiliate program that I could use on my buddy icon site. Since it is visited by kids and teens, I can't sell anything, I am looking for a pay per lead type of program. I tried some of Clixgalore, and they suck! They don't track my clicks or impressions well, I will never use them again.
Any ideas on what could I use? Thanks!

Thanks, but I didn't mean affiliate networks, I meant specific affiliate products or services I could offer on my website to try to get some income.

Although it might seem rather obvious, what about throwing Adsense on there...there seems to be some decent bidding on buddy icon related keywords, so it might turn into a nice chunk of change for you.

Not really... I had my script tweaked a few days ago so Adsence would show on all the pages, and not just the main page. My impressions jumped from a few hundreds to thousands, but clicks still are the same, a couple a day. And the clicks are only worth about 2 cents, so no way of getting income from that... And those are the exactly same ads that show on every single buddy icon on the net, so I guess that's why people don't seem to be interested in them. What I am looking for is a nice pay per lead program, with some atractive banners, that could catch their atention. I was using a program from there.com, but they got kicked out of CJ and are not using affiliates anymore.

Something you might consider then would be selling text links.
Sites like LinkAdage.com have auctions for text links, and if your site has a good enough PR and enough pages, many people would probably bid to buy a text link from your site. Basically, you're selling advertising. |

Our company has a pay per lead program, but I"m not sure that our products would be suitable for your audience. Our partners promote our insurance, financial, and home improvement related programs. You may want to consider investigating educational affiliate programs such as those for universities. Many of those will often have pay per lead program. I would think of services that teens use, such maybe Auto Insurance and search specifically through Google or Yahoo for those types of sites and contact them directly about their affiliate programs.

sweet goodness, fryman! That's a shocking avitar. I liked the goat better...
... back to the thread.... I think that the t-shirt idea is a winner... my kids have spent a mint on t-shirts.... also what about posters... most kids plaster their rooms with expensive paper. Have you considered selling banner ad space on your site. I've been thinking about putting some on my site but don't have any experience with the banner serving companies. Anybody have tips or good experiences giving a little page space to a banner ad service?

I have been making money selling leads based on keywords.
Sure it might cost 20-30 per lead (avg) to get listed for debt consolidation type sites but then I take that lead (from an online form) and sell it to 5 vendors for 15 bucks each. I have found the only way to make good money on the web is multiple streams of income. The other thing is get full out contracts for doing SEO. Develop a small portfolio of SEO clients and have them pay you for not just SEO but all their advertising (even ppc).
