How many AWS links have you got indexed

I have just started to use amazon AWS and was wondering how many links people have indexed with AWS and how long it took for google to index them. And also what level of traffic you get from those indexed links

Sounds like a strong argument for quality over quantity.

Yeah, I must agree. Having 1 million pages indexed and getting only 600 page views a day; conversion rate is extremely low.

I agree it depends on what your selling and if their buying if you design a page that gives them the information they are looking for and a few options to buy and amazon ad that is cheaper they convert.

However I would have to say my page views are more than 600 a day for these ads but my conversion rate this quarter is 4 percent give er take some.

I don't use AWS other than one ad I think on a popular camera but seems to me its not doing that great.

I've had amazon links up for several years. I'd like to know how much the parasites have mooched from me.

Or less competition over more competition! Right when I started mod_rewrite with AWS, I made over $5,000 on Q3 2003, then $7,500 on Q4 2003. Then it crashed as other sites started geting indexed that used the same script and my mod_rewrite hack. I learned the hard way, when you discover something that makes a killing, shut up about it! Don't give the secret away free!!!!

Another example of less competition the better, is with MaxBounty. I got doorway pages that get only about 50 pageviews a day, but make about the same amount that I make from Amazon. Total number of files there: 254. And there not even indexed in Google, visitors mostly come from Yahoo.

So, who's really making money from AWS today? Better SEO-ed sites with lots of lots of IBL?

I have seen so many AWS sites that make you want to puke... people just let their script run and end up with a bunch of horrible pages no one on earth would take seriously.

I have however, found a few sites that actually look nice and invite you to browse around. Those sites are the ones that convert. You can't build a page that looks like if it was designed by a drunk 5 year old child and expect the money to pour in.

well im building a few AWS sites just to experiment. however you are right there are some grim sites out there. im trying to avoid that pitfall and trying to add useful content to supplement the AWS content. Also does anyone know any sites that have simular web services like amazons AWS because if there is a saturation of AWS sites then id like to build a few sites using other web services
