High Yeild Affiliate Programs

Hey guys, I'm VERY new to this affiliate program thing. I was wondering if anyone had an idea or list of some of the more high payback possibilities of various affiliate programs.

Perhaps ones that give back a high percentage...I'm not really sure, I'm just looking for numbers, if anyone has any, so I can start doing some estimations and running some figures.

I used to be involved in affiliate marketing, but after loosing a lot of money and time I moved on to better things.

Out of curiosity, how did you lose a lot of money? I thought the whole affiliate aspect essintially minimizes both potential gain and loss. Did you do a lot of advertising up front that didn't pan out?

Yup... 1000 buck in adwords down the drain... got caught in the "Googlecash" fever. Tried everything from mortages to cookbooks, and never found a single item that sold well.

It takes time to make anything successfull. I think to avoid wasteing money you need to be sure of exactly where you are going with it. There are ways to make it very successful. You need to be patient though. You also need to have a mentality of start small, build big. You need to be a leader and build personal relationships.

Yes affiliate marketing is not a get rich quick deal but big money can be made over time. Our affiliates are making over 10K a month in some of our programs but it takes some knowledge and especially it takes finding the right programs that convert well. Many of the higher paying programs are lead based financial programs like loans and insurance.
