Smile Hi, I'm a new Affiliate Marketer

Hi, my name is Nick, I'm relatively new to affiliate marketing although I've been involved in internet marketing for about a year. I'm hoping to learn alot and share alot on this forum, and also I'm available for networking.

Affiliate Marketing is the best way to make money online & grow a business (in my honest opinion), and so I'm determined to succeed.

Hope everyone else here feels the same!

Hello Nick!

Hello Nick,

Welcome aboard the affiliate marketing train. I am also new but I have some knowledge I will like to share with you about successful affiliate marketing. I made a $27 commission last week on a Twitter follower software affiliate program. You can share your affiliate links on Twitter, in ebooks written by you and you can also share them in your blog and email mailing lists. I can teach you more and we can network if you want. Just PM me.

Congrats... there is TONS of money to be made with affiliate marketing. I think it's just as good as having your own products because you can make more money faster in more niches.

I'd recommend article marketing if you're just getting started... I've found it to be the best source of traffic.

I am not sure exactly what you mean here. I can assure you that the companies paying affiliates for sales are making more than those affiliates. So as far as being the 'best way to make money online' I am not convinced. But if you do not want to actually sell anything (in terms of having actual shipping facilities etc.) than affiliate sales can be a source of income.
Just like going into any other business there are risks. You seem to be in Connecticut, one law like NY are you are out of business. Also keep in mind that a company can change and decide not to do an affiliate program any more or reduce commissions if it is not working for them.
