Google and Affiliate Programs
Hello -

I was thinking about using Amazon book editorials to satisfy two conditions. One was for good targetted content and the other was for the possibility of affiliate sales.

As with all affiliate programs the linking URL is very long. Will this be a problem when and if Google spiders the page.

Yes you are right while it will not crawl your URLs because of the number of parameters amazon URLs generally has. try Amazon's SEO friendly URLs. they do the same job and are specially designed for the same purpose.

I looked for the SEO friendly URLs and haven't been able to find them. Will you share a link please?
