Commission Junction is a very good affiliate network! I think you should look at all the networks, but out of them all this ones my absolute favorite. They have alot of real things that people would want to buy.

CJ is a good program. Likely has the best portfolio of advertisers. We make consistent revenue from them each month.

Side note: We have never made big money running affiliate ads. Has anybody else made substantial revenue in recent times?

IVe been thinking about setting up an affiliate account with CJ. Id love to get my product out there, but i dont know if the site is ready for it.
What kind of time does it take to set up through CJ so others can add my stuff to thier sites? Ive got just over 5k products right now, but there are about 100-150 id love to focus on.

Can anyone give me a idea of whats involved in making it work through CJ?

THanks
Justin

It will cost around 5,000 to set up with CJ, that's if they except you. They are very particular and turn many merchants away.

Plus many affiliates are upset with CJ right now and threatening to leave, so you may be better off with a network like Shareasale or ShareResults that has a low set-up cost. Both have great reputations with affiliates.

Not to say at all that CJ is a bad network. They are still considered #1, just have made some bad decisions recently that have caused a loss of confindence with affiliates and merchants alike.

I would liek to know what basic dollars people are talkign about when they say what they are making wiht affialite programs.

How much do you make per 'campaign' and how many campaigns can you manage with how many people?

Any disucssion around this would be great.

Thanks,

C$R

When you say you have 5000 products, is this a catalog that you offer from 1 or more drop ship companies or affilaite programs? Do you use SEO PPC or both to drive traffic? What would you do different by focusing on 100-150 versus what you are doing with the 5000?

Thanks,

C$R

I had only positive experiences with CJ, so I recommend them.
