Can any person over here can solve my query

Hii

My client is selling an health product. And on his website he is having an link "Become an affilate.. After clicking on that link, it has been written

Become an Affiliate
"Become our Affiliate And make Profits By Promoting the services"

After that there is an signup form which is taking to shareasale.com


1)Now question is - weather my client is merchant and shareasale is an affiliate (3rd party tool)

2) Client is saying how can u help me in this in terms of SEO...?

i DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY. pLEASE PLEASE HELP ME OUT. i WOULD BE HIGHLY OBLIGED TO THE PERSON WHO WILL SOLVE THIS QUERY

there will be no effect on SEO... if he doesnt want to lose any juice to linking to them use rel="nofollow"... Other then that you will have to use this 3rd party software unless you develop one inhouse, or pay for one.

you can even make sure that the whole page is ignored completely with outgoing links and to not index the affiliate page.

Its up to you, there would be no significant effect from this. I would just leave as is.

client is using shareasale.com .. its an third party tool. since the client is an merchant what other techniques he can follow

Lightbulb create and optimize your affiliate pages for related words

I'd create 1-2 pages, highly optimized for words like

"product name + affiliate program"
"company name + affiliate"
"industry name + affiliate program"
"become *product* affiliate"

and come up with attractive copy with prices/projected earnings and testimonials of current affiliates.

it would help a lot to bring new affiliates onboard, looking for his products. A lot of affiliates look for new programs that way, i.e. if they have some niche sites build or want to test new program in the industry they're familiar with already, and your client's website will cope up on top; it shouldn't be that hard to optimize for such terms.
