Smile Best strategy?

Hi,

I am new here, and thought i would be a poster rather than a lurker.

A bit of basic info first of all; I ran a business for 18 months that sold solar panels etc online for 18 months while at university, I sold that last november as i did not have enough time to run it fully. As such i am coming into my final year at university and woudl like to start up a few good and relevant sites about subjects i understand.

I have run PHPnuke & oscommerce sites before, but have never done any affiliate adevertising.

As such i need some help please

My first site is fantasyliving (a .info) which is basically a blog i will update daily or weekly, which shows the latest historical or news worth properties for sale around the world.

the next site is reduceyourimpact (a.co.uk), this site aims to be a discussion group for carbon saving innitiatives etc. This is very relevant as i am doing my dissertation in this field. As such i will have a large about of exclusive & unique content i can post in the forum or as articles.

I have a few question if you would be kind enough to answer them,

1. as a starter site, which is the best program to start using cpc or cpm? considering i will probally have high visitor numbers but of poor quality at the start.

2. which affiliate system for cpm or cpc would you reccomend? i have added adsense on the fantasyliving.info site but i have yet to add any advertsing to my reduceyourimpact.co.uk website. I was planning on using PHPBB or PHPnuke.

Any other comments or points would be appreciated!
